Rather than a singular entity, Jack is a collective being formed from the resentment of all of the children tossed into the London river to be aborted. It's said this occurred once the number of children reached over 10,000; each dead child formed a wraith which, while weak on their own, became quite strong after they all collected into Jack.

As a result of her inhuman nature, piercing Jack in the heart won't kill her. Instead, the wraiths will spill out of her all at once and curse everything they can find.

In a way, she could be best described as a curse rather than a person. She was driven to murder women in an attempt to return to the womb. Naturally, without success.

She was overjoyed to be dubbed Jack the Ripper by the masses, if only because it finally gave her the name she lacked all along.

Eventually a powerful magus realised Jack was responsible for the whitechapel murders and, having discovered her nature as something inhuman, extinguished her.

Jack's personality is a contradiction, possibly owing to the fact that - while she isn't truly Jack the Ripper - she has been recognised by the world as Jack the Ripper, granting her the mental faculties of a serial killer able to commit their atrocities without ever being discovered.

She speaks in an overtly childish manner, but has the quick-wittedness and intelligence of Jack the Ripper. She's an incredibly rational being, but at the same time suffers from the emotional weaknesses of the wraiths that make up her existence. She's both a pure hearted child and a sociopathic killer. To her, murder brings about the same feelings a normal person would experience from stepping on a flower.

During the short time she spent on Earth as a killer, Jack made her way around London sleeping on the cold streets amongst rats and filth. As a result she hates the outside world, and so her wish is to return to her mother's womb where it's safe and warm.

Because she desperately seeks her mother, a person she chooses to latch onto will be deemed her "Mother", regardless of whether or not they are male or female, and seek maternal love from them. Those who accommodate this will receive the attention of the child that she is; greedily seeking affection, demanding attention and asking for love. Those who cannot, or those who oppose her mother, will be met with the face of a cold hearted serial killer who can kill and devour the souls of her victims without a second thought.

Jack's ability "the mist" summons smoke from an antique candle holder, which spreads outwards to conceal her movements. Exposure will cause humans to faint from the pain, while prolonged exposure will outright kill them. It also disorientates those caught within it, unless they have a supernatural manner of navigating through the mist. This allows Jack to sneak up on her victims and kill them under the cover of mist, much like she did when she was active as a killer due to London's great smog.

Maria the ripper is Jack's noble phantasm. When activated, her knives manifest inside of the target and deal damage - at base, they are ranki D, which isn't particularly strong, but there are three conditions that empower them. 1) If the target is female. 2) If it's night time. 3) If it's misty. If all three conditions are fulfilled, the opponent will be instantly killed. The nature of the attack is more akin to a powerful curse rather than a physical attack, so although physical defenses will be bypassed immediately, a resistance to curses can help mitigate damage.

Murderer of a misty night is a skill that empowers the usual weakness of presence concealment. It allows Jack a single preemptive strike against her opponent, whereas usually a servant's presence is revealed the moment they begin to attack. Unconditionally successful at night, but requires a luck check during daytime.

Mental pollution is a reflection of Jack's damaged psyche; mental attacks will have difficulty succeeding against her. If her "mother" treats her cruelly, her rank in mental pollution will rise and safeguard her from such an attack further, but if it rises too high she will be completely corrupt and lose her childish aspects.

Information erasure removes all traces of her from the memories of those who witness her killing. The servants name, appearance, skills and noble phantasms are erased from their mind, as well as any recording devices. However, the damage she causes is not, so it's possible to deduce what happened if the person in question is smart enough to follow her work as clues.

Jack's surgical ability allows her to perform seemingly outdated surgery techniques from 120 years ago. Although on the surface they appear unreliable, it's essentially magical healing, and so whatever she operates on will be successfully healed despite the quality of her needlework or the fact such practices are outdated. Gives her precise knowledge and understanding of human anatomy as a side effect.
